Friends and Family

Second Chance Salvage Grocery would never have been able to open its doors without the help of our family and friends, who have contributed incalculable sums of time, sweat, and expertise into making this business successful.  There's no way to remember all the folks who showed up and helped at various times, but the ones we can remember are listed here, sort of as a partial "thanks":

Three couples have given far more than could ever be expected in this venture.  They have been the backbone of our support group, and have done far more voluntarily than we could ever afford to pay for.  In no particular order, they are:

Tom and Frances Woodard
Mike and Pat Stokes
Dave and Caryn Dampier

Other friends and family who have come by to save the day are, again in no particular order:

Skip, Linda, Michael, and Susan Jack
Carol Thornell
Gwen Herndon
Susan Woodard and Jeff Shannon
Michael Dampier
Adam and Joy Wear
Mike and Alicia Arick
Clark Hartness
Lisa and David Woodard
Melvin Rhodes
Randy Romero
Kate Gibbons
Cindy Spivey
Roger Puhr, and
Tom Sullivan (aka "Outside Sales")

Lynn keeps the store clean, organized, and well stocked. She's doubles as a full-time mom, and a great cook.  She's also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, which helps her keep David and Ben in line.

David (on the left) stocks shelves, works the register, and keeps the store clean. We tried a picture without the cap, but it didn't look like David.
Ben (on the right) does the same things as David, but got serious brownie points for holding the Pilon coffee bag in the photo.

Starkville's only salvage grocery, Mississippi's best salvage grocery.  Salvage grocery is all we do.   Salvage grocery?  Yep, salvage grocery.  We like to call it scratch and dent, but it's really salvage grocery.
